The village with its conical roofs and the chef in the fields add to the charm.
Who needs good sleep anyway with loud events in the pool area until midnight?

I stayed at Masseria Ancella for a weekend getaway and it was amazing! The food, the bed, and the jacuzzi were all top-notch. The massage I had was incredibly relaxing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owners were wonderful, making me feel like part of their lovely family. The restaurant served delicious Puglian dishes made with homegrown produce. The masseria itself was beautifully renovated with great attention to detail. The location was perfect and the ambience was spot-on. a fantastic experience that I will definitely be coming back for.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I keep coming back to this amazing place because it has everything I need: wi-fi, free parking, air conditioning, and a bar/restaurant. The staff's kind attitude towards my parents made our first stay unforgettable. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant on-site served delicious food, especially the steak which was exceptional. We also enjoyed the wine selection, with the waiters providing great recommendations from the region.
While our overall experience was great, there were a few minor issues. The rooms were a bit dark and some had a strange layout, but they were spacious and comfortable.

During my recent business trip to Montalbano, my director chose the remarkable Masseria Ancella as our accommodation. I am delighted to share my experience and highlight some incredible features of this charming hotel. the aromatherapy massage offered at the spa was an absolute delight. The long, gentle, and harmonious movements allowed me to rediscover a sensorial richness and reach a state of complete relaxation and abandonment. Additionally, the suggestive couple's bath in a tub, accompanied by Negroamaro or Primitivo wine, combined with the soothing atmosphere of candles, created a truly unforgettable experience. The swimming pool, built with local white stone and surrounded by olive trees, provided a peaceful oasis for relaxation, and being close to the rich citrus grove was a refreshing bonus.
The only minor aspect that I noticed during my stay was the lack of a sofa/lounge area outside.

Amidst the charming Apulian countryside, this hidden gem offers a truly unique experience. The aromatherapy massage and couple's bath in a wine-filled tub, accompanied by glasses of red wine, was a sensory journey like no other. I felt like a grape, luxuriously soaking in the crimson elixir!
Wedding noise during the day.

The vegetable garden was lovely, the SPA experience with red wine in the Trulli was totally relaxing. Who needs anything more?
Well, I just loved the noisy bypass road right next to my room, it really added to the rustic charm.

Rustic chic style, spa with wine treatments, candle massage for couples, beautiful beaches nearby, festivals and concerts.
I just loved how the smell of dust mixed with the fungus in the shower - a true sensory delight!

The vegetable garden just a few steps from the kitchen and the rustic chic Trulli SPA experience with red wine treatments were just what I needed for pure relaxation.
Paying for the swimming pool towels? How generous!

The location of Masseria Ancella was perfect for exploring the nearby towns and archeological sites. The venue had a stylish and authentic charm, and the restaurant offered excellent food. The staff members were extremely helpful and accommodating to ensure a pleasant stay.
One night, there was a reception with loud techno music that overflowed into the restaurant. However, the restaurant staff still provided excellent service despite the noise disturbance.

Our stay at Masseria Ancella was a great value for the money. The room was spacious and comfortable, with powerful air-conditioning to beat the summer heat. The location was ideal, with easy access to beautiful beaches and nearby attractions like Alberobello. The staff was fantastic, providing wonderful service and making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was having a wider variety of fresh fruits and pastries.
